Join our client's team as an experienced Manufacturing Technology Analyst (Lift/Move Engineering), supporting the NASA Space Launch Systems Core Stage and Exploration Upper Stage (EUS) production based at Michoud Assembly Facility. Michoud is home of production for the core stage of the Space Launch System.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and support the evaluation of technical data for specific projects requiring lifting/moving of large aerospace structures;
  • Participate or manage lifting/movement projects using approved techniques;
  • Initiate changes to supporting processes and related documentation;
  • Provide low-level training on lifting procedures and processes related to movement of production hardware;
  • Provide technical assistance to meet regulatory, production and process requirements concerning lifting/movement of flight hardware;
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure products and services compliance;
  • Work under general supervision.
  • Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure products and services meet requirements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to generate lift and move documentation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
