Responsibilities:

• As software architect, define, develop, and integrate embedded software to support real-time embedded avionics software projects.
• Design, code, test, and integrate software.
• Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Systems Integration team.
• Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs.
• Modeling and simulation efforts.
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

 

Qualifications:

• Required – active Secret clearance with an update within the last 5 years. Clearable to Special Access Programs.
• 2-4 years of experience / skill using Embedded Systems
• 4-6 years using C and C++ at an Intermediate level
• Linux skill/knowledge preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good presentation skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6-10 years of experience required; or Master’s and 4-8 years
