Join our client's Space Launch System Production Engineering team as an Engineering Technical Support Technicians to gather, analyze, and report production system performance data. Individuals filling these positions will compile, analyze, develop and formats data from multiple sources using engineering standards, processes, and computational tools to provide documentation that assists customers in the development of production system products, services and processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex analysis of products to verify regulatory conformance and contractual compliance.
  • Manage data collected from Manufacturing, Assembly & Operations teams to support the organization's business plan.
  • Maintain and improve products (production engineering data, spreadsheets, websites, documentation, etc.), processes and services to ensure consistent quality of data used to accomplish engineering tasks.
  • Prepare and present materials for review and decision making by leaders of various levels including executive level audiences.
  • Maintain production engineering related user documentation to support production systems.
  • Maintain web pages/libraries to provide organizational visibility and communication to internal and external customer.
  • Develop and maintain production engineering related user documentation to support the design of production systems.
  • Trains others. Works under minimal guidance.

  • Engineering Knowledge & Comprehension: Complete knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems. Communicates with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
  • Information Technology Fluency: Proficient using personal computing hardware and software to build presentations or reports, and enter project information, such as statements of work, resource identification and usage, task status, cost estimating and tracking, etc. Proficient in the processes and tools used to maintain, archive, and retrieve digital files. Can identify and gain approval for testing established applications to meet project requirements.
  • Process Measurement: Extensive and specialized ability to identify and create qualitative or quantitative measures of success and failure. Extensive and specialized ability to select the key parameters and develop standards to monitor progress, provide updates of performance, and plot trends over time.
  • Research Methods: Proficient in research tools, methods, and resources to gather data.

Education and Experience:

AA in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
