Responsibilities:

• Assist Supplier Quality Representative(s) and oversee supplier activities at suppliers.
• Assist supplier performance monitoring and data analytics, supplier approval, audits/assessments, product verification, corrective action, preventative action, continuous improvement activities and special projects.
• Work virtually, pass annual vision exams, and travel to/from suppliers or customers using their personal vehicle for local support.
• Use manufacturing standards for safety equipment (hard hat, safety shoes, and/or safety glasses).
• This scope of this position involves work of less than 32 hours per week with variable scheduling.

 

Qualifications:

• High degree of knowledge and practical experience in one or more of the following areas: avionics, electronics, wiring, machining, castings, plastics, ducts/tubes, composites, electo/hydro/mechanical, sheet metal, quality management systems, digital product definition, airborne software/firmware, tooling, calibration and/or special processes.
• Must be located at/near Minneapolis, Minnesota Metropolitan Area (50 mile radius) and may work from their residence.
• If/when a candidate operates from their residence they must have the following: a dedicated office space with a high speed internet connection that supports effective use of simultaneous email, use of company Virtual Private Network (VPN), 2-way video conference, upload/download data, and general website usage.
• Skill/expertise in Avionics maintenance
• Electronics and electro-mechanical skill/expertise
• Skill/expertise in Quality, Quality Analysis, Supplier Quality
• Skill/experience in auditing and quality audit reports
• Skill in reading blueprints and wire harness prints

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
