As a solutions architect on our team, you'll translate our business community's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products, design specifications, statements of work, requirements, and scripts. Through your leadership, we’ll help transform the way we use technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems.

 

What Will the Solutions Architect Do?

• Assess technology initiatives and accelerate execution, working alongside technology leaders to ensure effective evaluation, design, implementation, and management of our technology
• Help design new capabilities and enhance critical business processes to aid in the processes to drive sales through our technology infrastructure and software
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to define a strategy for updating operating systems, hardware, storage, and network infrastructure and appropriate software
• Craft and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership through data-driven analysis and visualization for executive decision-making
• Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
• Provide current best practices and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document

What Skills and Experience Are We Looking for in a Solutions Architect?

• Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
• IT Infrastructure Design / Architecture
• An Education in a Data Science or Data Science Related Field is a PLUS
• 5+ years of experience working in a technical field with a focus on software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology, such as cloud, automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks.
• Deep technical experience in Web-native architectures and a range of programming languages, operating systems and application deployment models
• Business-facing experience
