We are currently seeking an Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our technology team. The Enterprise Applications Engineer is responsible for implementing, testing, and maintaining the firm's primary software applications. Applications include, but are not limited to, the MS Office suite and legal software add-ins, collaboration tools, PDF applications, legal document management systems, and specialized applications for legal practice groups and individual users. This hybrid position is based in the firm’s New York offices in Hudson Yards.

What will the Legal Application Engineer Do?

• Support the transition of legacy on-prem applications to cloud applications
• Perform application integration, configuration and packaging requirements
• Acts as the subject matter expert for enterprise applications to ensure ease of use and full leverage of the tools
• Define and maintain firm standards for implementing software
• Perform QA testing of new application installs and upgrades
  

What skills and experience are we looking for in a Legal Application Engineer?

• 5+ years of experience in applications engineering in a law firm
• In-depth expertise in MS Office Suite and legal industry add-ins, PDF applications, UCC platforms, and document management systems
• Experience supporting migrations to, and maintaining M365, hosted document management systems, and other cloud applications
• Understanding of user identity and application security models
• Strong knowledge of legal industry application requirements, best practices, and industry standards
