We are a growing company looking for a knowledgeable Sr Payroll Accountant that will ensure accurate processing and reporting of company payroll for multiple US states and international regions.

Role Purpose:

Under supervision of Payroll Manager, the Senior Accountant will ensure accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, daily data entry and perform related work as required. This position will partner and collaborate with Human Resources Managers and team members to reach organizational objectives while applying business solutions in a proactive manner. The ability to build relationships, exercise good judgment and work across multiple time zones and in a global environment is critical in this role. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how Payroll and Benefits improvement work with solid accounting background for seamless record keeping

Responsibilities :

• Understand all aspects of payroll regarding payroll laws and regulations.
• Process and evaluate payroll deductions for tax-sheltered reductions. Verify proper record-keeping of deductions and compliance with current tax laws of IRS and international regions
• Responsible withholding tax returns for multiple US states and international regions
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately. Responsible for new hire entry and Termination process of P45 and ROE
• Provide excellent customer service to employees in the areas of compensation and withholding taxes
• Responsible for year-end Tax forms of W-2, T4, R1, P60, P11d, IR&A.
• Deliver semi-month and monthly payroll covering US, Canada, UK, Singapore, and Germany
• This position will work closely with Equity, Corporate Tax, and Benefits on payroll-related matters and administer Concur and Egencia for business related reimbursement
• Support annual audits, internal reporting, other compliance measures and work with local taxing jurisdiction for reporting and tax purposes
• Cash projection for monthly Payroll report

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required
• 5 + years of payroll processing and accounting experience in technology industry required
• Prior experience with Workday, ADP, Gusto, Paycom, Paychex, Namely and the reimbursement program of Concur, Egencia are preferred
• Proficient with Payroll software. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, great team player and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills
