Role Title: Accounting Manager

Role Purpose:
We are currently looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager with excellent operational accounting experience to join the accounting team in the Palo Alto office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the company at a time of its rapid growth and will play a critical role helping the team develop a scalability accounting process.
Role Value:
This role is expected to be a hands-on contributor supporting the US, UK, Austria, Canada and Singapore entities with their GL activities, month end close processes, consolidations, balance sheet accounts reconciliations, external audits, and internal controls compliance duties, as well as system implementations and process improvements.
Responsibilities :
? Assist with overseeing the day-to-day activities of accounting including global AP/Procurement, month end close, general ledger, inter-company and consolidations
? Support and develop global accounting policies and procedures, ensure the timeliness, consistency and accuracy of the month end close process
? Perform detailed review of reconciliations and journal entries for month end close
? Coordinate with international accounting team to streamline close process
? Drive process improvement, internal controls, and accounting procedures
? Support monthly/quarterly reviews, annual audits and local statutory reporting requirements
? Proactively interact with business owners and senior management on accounting matters
Relevant Experience and Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
? 5 + years corporate accounting experience, combination of private and public company experiences preferred
? NetSuite experience is strongly preferred
? Prior experience in international accounting in multi-national company preferred
? Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
? Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills
? Strong work ethic, great team player and thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment
