Position
Our client is seeking a Fund Accountant to join the fund management team to support corporate and finance related processes pertaining to the two North America Infrastructure Funds, which currently represent over $2b of assets under management. Based in New York the Fund Accountant will report to the Senior Financial Controller (New York based) and the Chief Financial Officer (Paris based). The Fund Accountant will be charged with the following tasks:
- Assist in the quarterly close process, including the review of the quarterly NAV, financial statements and investor statements;
- Assist with the daily cash management of the Funds;
- Assist in the preparation and review of capital call and distribution calculations and notices;
- Assist in the audit process and annual financial statements;
- Liaise with corporate and finance service providers of the Funds (Administrator, Auditors);
Profile
- Bachelor degree in accounting or related field;
- Certified Public Accountant or parts passed preferred;
- Approximately 1-3 years of experience, preferably in either the private equity/hedge fund or financial services sectors, coming from a public accounting firm, fund administrator, or a direct fund with accounting experience;
