Research Assistant for Private Equity Firm

Our client, a Private Equity firm, is seeking a Research Assistant for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be a team player.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Book travel arrangements including flight, hotel and ground transportation for team
  • Track quarterly earnings calls and track sell side interactions and corporate access meeting and call data
  • Process expense reports, manage calendar, and log meeting details in database
  • Phone coverage and calendar management
  • Send out daily reconciliation email to Investment team to confirm their activity data
  • Develop basic understanding of industry
  • Participate in weekly business meetings and coordinate high volume of internal and external meetings
  • Collect and organize research reports, models, and company quarterly and annual reports
  • Ad hoc research projects as requested

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree a must
  • 1-2 years administrative assistant experience within financial services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent organization skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to exercise discretion
  • Must be teamwork oriented with ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Compensation: $70-75k base
