Front End Developer

Prediktive - Latin America, LATAM

We are looking for a Front End Developer based anywhere in Latin America to work on a project for one of our clients, an innovative entertainment startup based in Los Angeles and Austin.

Our client is a global community of food lovers & travelers on a mission to connect the world through video. In just a few years their community has grown to over 200 million people watching their videos across a huge range of channels, devices and apps, from the web to Apple TV, Facebook, and Snapchat.

We’re looking for a Front End Developer with a love of UI and an eye for design. You’ll be working on our Client's internally facing content and data platform. You’ll work on features across multiple departments, building the tools and infrastructure that power our Client's content creation and distribution on all of their digital platforms. You’ll build meaningful workflows, automation and content delivery features that drive our bottom line.

Responsibilities

  • Ship and maintain a complex data and content platform built on React, Redux, and Node JS

  • Work within a small, tight-knit multidisciplinary team to solve internal workflow and productivity bottlenecks with software

  • Interface directly with end-users to implement new features from design through implementation and launch

  • Contribute to an internal UI Framework and help improve legacy code to fit modern standards

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, & HTML

  • Strong knowledge of React & Redux

  • Experience with Node.js

  • 2+ years of experience building customer facing products

  • Expertise building RESTful services is a plus

  • Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL is a plus

  • Knowledge of video encoding and streaming standards is a plus
