CNC Milling Machinist/Set-up - Direct Hire

Remedy Professional Services is currently seeking a skilled CNC Mill setup/operator to join our client's CNC Machining Department.

 

This machinist will work on second shift, which is Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm to 2:45am.

 

The individual will be involved in the complex setup and limited run of highly engineered components. This position will require complex setup and troubleshooting ability. Master CAM or Part Maker experience preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly set up jobs within standards including working with advanced tooling and attachments. Ability to set up complex equipment and jobs preferred
  • Regularly tasked with managing the most challenging production jobs.
  • Expected to contribute to continuous improvement in efficiency and quality of production.
  • Operate manual equipment as needed, e.g. engine lathes, grinders, mills etc.
  • Work with tight tolerances and correct issues with speeds and feeds
  • Ensure parts produced adhere to high standards of quality relevant to the aerospace industry

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years minimum of CNC/mill machining experience, preferably with 5-axis machines
  • 3 years of CNC/Mill set-up experience
  • 2-3 years of CNC/Mill programming experience is a plus (Master CAM or Part Maker)
  • Must have experience holding tight tolerances
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 facility and experience with AS 9100 preferred

 

This position will pay $20-27/hr with overtime available, as well as quarterly profit sharing.
