Our client, a large consolidated health system with several hospitals, physician offices, and ambulatory surgery centers is in search of a high-performing and successful Chief Financial Officer for oversight of one of their regional hospitals and associated clinical practices. This position will be responsible for maximizing financial performance and providing leadership and guidance to management and key stakeholders. The best candidate will have a mix of financial and operational experience in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maximize organization’s financial performance by analyzing the profitability of operations, product lines, etc. and make recommendations as needed for areas of improvement. Focus on metrics to target overall improvement in operations and finance. Develop and implement policies and procedures, short and long-term goals, objectives and financial plans. Oversee costs by continually seeking data that will identify opportunities and take action to eliminate non-value expenditures. Participate in the financial reporting process by overseeing the preparation of financial reports outlining the organization’s financial position, review of operating profit and loss statement, complete oversight of the annual operating plan and departmental budgets, as well as oversight of financial and operational performance. This leader will work closely with the accounting and FP&A teams, as well as work cross-functionally with operational leaders in region hospital as well as across the organization.
