Our client is in search of a high-performing and successful Manager, Health Economics Analytics & Reporting.  This role will be responsible for the daily operations of the Healthcare Economics Financial Reporting and Analytics Team which at a very basic level is responsible to pull data, write reports, and support multiple lines of business for which organization maintains membership, including Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), Medicare Advantage, Self Funded and Fully Insured Commercial Group business.

The Manager, Health Economics Analytics & Reportingis a highly visible position to the executive level. This role will be responsible for leading the team in the creation of monthly KPI reports and the corresponding PowerPoint presentations for various dashboards. In addition, this team will also support population health. It will require interaction with the Senior VP and the Director of Population Health to provide analytics and reporting support. Additional responsibilities will include working with regional managers and decision support team within the system level Information Services area to provide performance data for clinical score cards. It is important to note the Healthcare Analytics team will have new and continually evolving projects when it comes to analytical support.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Drives results by integrating and aligning efforts across team and monitoring progress against objectives.
  • Manages financial and/or operational analysis and initiatives and makes recommendations to support senior executives in strategic and operational decision making.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures.
  • Manages the implementation of new rules or processes that impact the system financial team or areas supported.
  • Tracks operational and financial performance based on benchmarks and other targets to identify and recommend areas for potential improvement.
  • Accountable for strategic planning, program development, labor management and overall management of assigned area of operations.
  • Identifies potential issues or inconsistencies in processes and manages improvements or escalates issues appropriately.
  • Works within multiple departments to create a collaborative team environment that enhances colleague engagement.
  • Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of organization in leadership behaviors, practices and decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, Master’s in Health Administration or Master’s in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum Five Years Relevant Experience required, Healthcare Experience strongly preferred.
  • Management experience required.
  • Strong background in population health and financial analytics is a must.
  • Financial analytic background is a must.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL helpful, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
