Civil Litigator
Well-regarded South Shore Law firm is seeking a Civil Litigator with a background in
commercial and small business litigation including business-to-business disputes and
construction lawsuits. Also familiar with insurance coverage and insurance coverage litigation,
personal injury, estate and probate litigation including will and trust contests.
Requirements:
Background in civil litigation including motion practice, depositions, alternative dispute
resolution, some trial experience, is familiar with the rules of civil procedure, and comfortable
communicating. with clients and making decisions regarding case strategy and court
appearances.
Ability to be comfortable reviewing extensive documents and other written data for purposes of
developing case strategy, determining settlement valuation, and communicating with clients and
opposing counsel. Strong writing skills critical.
Friendly, dynamic personality with a take-charge personality, who can work in a small
environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet litigation deadlines, working as both lead attorney and
in collaboration with others on the team.
Interest in developing business and marketing services and legal assistance offered by the firm.
Ideal candidate should have 7 to 15 years of related legal experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
110-125 salary plus 25% commissions on new business. Medical reimbursement, paid time
off/sick days, paid vacation, paid bar dues and attorney registration/BBO fees. Participation in
the 401k plan with matching.
