About the Role:

Seeking the first Controller for the Americas. Looking for a hands-on, experienced, and independent person to be responsible for the group’s ongoing financial reporting to the management team and investors as well as payroll for the Americas. You will report directly to the VP of Finance.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for managing the payroll for the FTEs and subcontractors in the Americas
2. Analyzing & providing monthly, quarterly & yearly salaries outcomes
3. Performing other financial duties, including but not limited to general accounting, collection and payment terms
4. Generate and reviewing monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis ? Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue forecast processes
5. Oversee the accounting operations the Americas
6. Maintain controls and assist in the automation of those controls
7. Working with the Department Heads (R&D, Sales, Marketing, HR, Legal, Customer Operation) to ensure all fully executed agreements are properly booked and recognized in the system to ensure accuracy in closing metrics
8. Preparing financial information requested by investors and management
9. Partial responsibility for the collection process

Requirements

1. CPA preferred
2. At least 2 years of experience in one of the big accounting firms
3. 3+ years of experience in a similar role
4. Previous experience in a high-tech company
5. Experience as an assistant controller – an advantage
6. A highly productive self-starter with a very strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, able to work independently as well as being a team player
7. Analytical and process-oriented
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
