Senior/Lead .NET Developer
True Source IT, LLC
- Minneapolis, MN
A fantastic opportunity for a Sr. Developer who is hungry to grow and wants to move in the leadership direction. This is a direct-hire opportunity with a fast growing company in Minneapolis.
Developers get to work on the gamut:
- In-house app built on Angular2 and .NET Core 2 (typescript). This will need feature enhancements.
- We have a Data warehouse, data marts – building master data model.
- We have a need for a reporting center – ad-hoc cube situation where end-users can query for data.
- We have lots of workflow and data integration projects. (6-8 in the pipeline currently). Integrating all the enterprise systems together.
Most Important Qualifications & Why:
- Must be a good developer with at least 3+ years of experience, who knows C# and T-SQL like the back of their hand.
- 4 year degree - doesn't need to be technical
- Someone who has good people skills, who can have the ability to lead, but we need a hands-on person who can code. Coding, pair programming and helping others, etc.
- Type A personalities that want to grow a team, get in at this level and want somewhere to grow.
- Someone who cares about attention to detail, and has good follow through – is dependable.
- Don’t need agile experience, but needs to have buy-in at least
- A Full-stack person, but someone with more focus on deep software/C# experience. Would like to have someone with some database coding, queries, etc., but don’t need someone who brings super strong data warehouse/data mart experience (already have many people on staff who are good at that). The more pressing need is for someone who can break a design down into actual steps and can get it done - more on the software side.
- Need and ability to focus.
- Someone who can take end user stories and turn them into functional work.
Ideal Candidate:
Don’t need to have formal lead experience – just experience doing really good work and is hungry to lead.
If possible, someone who is willing to learn and understands that they are not all the way here, and have things to learn - a little humble.
Front end and UX experience would of course be a plus, but not required.
