True Source IT is seeking a Manager of Software and Application Development for a growing client in St. Paul, Minnesota. The engineering team is growing larger than one manager can handle and they have decided to add a second. The ideal candidate would be someone with a development background.  That being said - this would be a "hands-off" manager position (no programming required).

A General Overview:

• This candidate will need to be able to provide guidance, performance management and administration, helping with career paths, hiring, etc.
• Does the team trust this person from a technical point of view, and can they provide the team with guidance and delegation to the right people. Someone who can hold their own, but does not need to be an expert in specific technologies used. (Java/Spring/AWS environment)
• Needs to be able to make sound technology decisions. 
• Looking for at least a couple years of management experience.
• Not so concerned about what industry the candidates comes from, but having experience in cloud environments would be a big plus.
