Senior Rails Engineer

Tyche Project - Boston, MA

Our client is the number one rated online marketplace for business catering the United States and is in the process of growing the technical side of their organization while attacking a $20+ billion industry. Every week is literally their best week ever and they have experienced exponential revenue growth year over year.

We are working with them to identify multiple Senior Level Ruby on Rails Engineers who are looking for a place to own projects from inception to deployment. With an engineering culture built from the top, even the CEO has a CS degree, they have a motto of “Try It. Track It. Measure It.” and offer the opportunities to solve problems in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Marketplace Development (Consumer/Caterer Analytics, Logistics/Supply Matching, etc)

  • Enterprise Tools (corporate budget monitoring, etc)

  • Internal Business Tools

The ideal engineer will be comfortable working inside of both monolithic and microservice-based architectures, will have both built their own and integrated with third party API services, and has a solid understanding of how to increase efficiency in performance and scale across cloud-based architecture.

The marketplace has served over 15M people to this point, generating over 700k customer reviews of the more than 50k caterers on the marketplace. These numbers are growing… along with the massive amounts of data that we use to help our customers with their decision making and event planning.

If you are looking for an organization rooted in trust and transparency this may just be the one for you.

Our clients are equal employment opportunity employers. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability.

ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY LIVING IN OR WILLING TO RELOCATE TO BOSTON PLEASE. UNFORTUNATELY, SPONSORSHIP OF ANY KIND IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
