Front-End Engineer

This Boston-based client is creating a SaaS platform used by hundreds of software companies to improve their products without ever having to write any code. The front-end engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining features that directly empower customers. From a browser extension that provides a drag-and-drop style interface for building dreamy UX, to creating UI patterns that help millions of end users to achieve their goals faster. This is the type of work you can expect here on a daily basis.

We're looking for talented web developers to join our 20-person team focused on helping our customers build products that their users love.

Projects include:

  • Web development in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support and extend a customer-facing WYSIWYG editor, analytics dashboards, and management interface, as well as an end-user-facing JavaScript SDK.
  • Conception, design, and user-testing of new features and products, with an eye toward rapid iteration and agile processes.
  • Creating microservices when necessary, to support new frontend initiatives.
  • Working with design, customer success, technical support, and sales to translate customer needs into working code and tight UX.

An ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience developing software for the web
  • Experience with modern JS frameworks, e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Knockout, Backbone, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with databases, caches, and other persistence layers
  • Background in product or UX design
  • Expertise in responsive and accessible design
