Absolute Staffing is searching for a Customer Service Representative to work with our client.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong background in customer service, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and patients, providing assistance, answering inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies to customers.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively assist customers with their needs.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including response time, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including privacy and security guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and customer service software.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations is a plus
