Health & Safety Consultant – PA State Police (Hybrid)

About the Position:
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Consultant to support the Pennsylvania State Police. This hybrid role requires flexibility to work at the State Police Headquarters, travel to various worksites, and work remotely. Personal transportation is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of the State Police Action Plan: set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and track progress.

• Develop and deliver effective health and safety trainings — both in-person and via webinar — using existing materials or creating new ones as needed.

• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with the Accident and Illness Prevention Program (AIPP) and agency policies.

• Analyze injury data, prepare technical reports, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

• Provide support in areas such as injury/illness prevention, industrial hygiene, and AIPP compliance.

• Operate independently to offer on-site safety support and guidance.

• Build strong relationships through excellent customer service and communication across all personnel levels.

• Travel to assigned worksites as needed.

Qualifications:

• One of the following:

  • AIPP qualification with less than two years of occupational safety experience

  • AIPP qualification with at least two years of occupational safety experience

  • Two years of occupational safety experience and actively working toward AIPP qualification

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving client needs
