Project: The Integrated Vocational Engagement & Support Team (InVEST) Project

*Hybrid position*

Position Description:
We are seeking a temporary Digital Marketing Specialist to support The Integrated Vocational Engagement & Support Team (InVEST) Project, which aims to expand competitive integrated employment (CIE) opportunities for Pennsylvanians with disabilities. This short-term role will focus on developing and executing digital marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement for the InVEST Project.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Associate Director of Business Services and work closely with the communications department to ensure alignment with organizational branding and messaging.

Position Type:
Part Time, hourly

Hourly Rate:
$20.00/hour

Location:
Pittsburgh, PA (some flexibility)

Job Responsibilities:

Project-Focused Advertising and Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to promote the InVEST Project.
  • Perform keyword research for PPC campaigns and implement retargeting strategies to maximize reach.

Content Strategy and Creation

  • Develop and optimize project-related content for websites, blogs, and social media channels.
  • Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement.

Data Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Provide actionable insights to refine strategies and generate concise reports for stakeholders.

Email and Social Media Marketing

  • Design and deliver project-specific email campaigns to targeted audiences.
  • Manage social media scheduling and engagement to build awareness for the project.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or content creation, preferably for nonprofits or mission-driven initiatives.
  • Proficiency in digital tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SEO and data-driven marketing practices.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.

Details:
This is a temporary role with a primary focus on supporting the InVEST Project’s digital marketing needs. Flexibility in schedule and a collaborative mindset are key to success in this position.

Time off

  • 40 hours of paid sick time
  • Sick time is available after 90-day introductory period
  • Unused sick time does not roll over to new year
