Application Administrator

  The Applications Administrator will serve as the subject matter expert for all SaaS business implemented by third party vendors and work with employees and leadership to implement OneDrive/SharePoint Online. This position will require participation in all new third-party implementations, ongoing development of third party systems in operations, and project management support with third party vendors. The Application Administrator must stay abreast of periodic application updates/changes and provide support for data transfers between applications. The Applications Administrator must be customer service focused and work collaboratively across the company. 

Position Responsibilities 

Essential Functions 

• Administrative support for third party SaaS business systems, governed by HIPPA and PHI policies. 

• Install and maintain The Arc’s OneDrive/SharePoint online and all associated modules and storage allocations. 

• Work with end-users to design related workspaces and maximize the potential of OneDrive/SharePoint online as it relates to their job function 

• Administer the availability, security, and maintenance of the SharePoint portal, including licensing compliance. 

• Primary contact for all third party and OneDrive/SharePoint technical and administrative issues. 

• Collaborate with the IT Administrator and other IT professionals to troubleshoot platform issues. 

• Work with the Director of IT to develop and implement a business continuity process including backup and disaster recovery. 

• Stay current with OneDrive/SharePoint's emerging product line and with new additions that may complement existing modules. 

• Develop SOP’s, user guides, information sheets, and other user-friendly communication tools for all Arc business systems. 

• Responsible for managing help desk application to include preparation of monthly reports on tickets opened and trending issues. 

• Respond to and remedy help desk tickets. 

• Create user accounts with appropriate level of access; regularly audit and ensure user and programmatic compliance of systems 


Other Functions: 

• Act as a backup for the Business Systems Administrator. 

• Assist with data extracts and other import/export related systems requirements. 

• Provide technical support special projects that are IT related. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 


Education & Experience Requirements 

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in business or technology strongly preferred

Experience designing/implementing a new OneDrive/SharePoint online presence using project management techniques 

• Proficiency in Office 365 and OneDrive/SharePoint cloud maintenance 

• Ability to acquire new skills quickly 

• Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage positive communication in difficult situations 

• Experience supporting technology user experience 

• Strong project management and documentation skills required 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively among diverse personalities and employee populations 

• Ability to exercise initiative, think creatively in the improvement of processes to drive results

This position operates in a professional office environment and out in the community. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. 


Work Schedule 

This position is full-time. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday during The Arc office hours, with on-call after hours rotation. This position is eligible for telework.
