Absolute Staffing & Consulting Solutions is seeking dedicated Workers’ Compensation Nurse Case Coordinators (NCCs) to join our team, supporting injured workers in Pennsylvania. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate medical care, recovery, and return-to-work efforts for injured workers.
Conduct intake interviews with injured individuals and their families, including those with catastrophic injuries (head trauma, spinal cord injuries, etc.).
Develop, initiate, and oversee individualized rehabilitation plans addressing medical, psychological, and safety needs.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals to ensure appropriate and adequate care.
Monitor treatment progress, obtain independent medical opinions as needed, and update all stakeholders on medical status and care plans.
Facilitate vocational readiness, including job analyses, modified duty options, and employer interviews to support return-to-work efforts.
Assist with coordinating home modifications, medical equipment, PT/OT services, orthotic devices, and home healthcare.
Serve as liaison among injured workers, physicians, attorneys, employers, and insurance professionals.
Provide input to assist insurers and life care plan specialists in projecting future medical needs and expenses.
Ensure compliance with URAC accreditation standards and state regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1 year of direct clinical nursing experience
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage/travel expenses reimbursed)
Preferred:
Certification as a case manager (CCM, CDMS, CRC)
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a health-related field
Additional licensure or healthcare certifications
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical assessment and care coordination abilities
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to analyze medical status and determine care needs
Organizational and time management skills for field-based work
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with medical/claims systems
