Apprentices will be awarded NCCER Core and NCCER Electrical Level 1 credentials in addition to OSHA 10.   These are industry recognized nationally portable credentials.   In addition to training being sponsored by employers and workforce system, apprentices are provided $600+ in tools at competition of training.

Upon placement into a full-time job, apprentices participate in an apprenticeship program that provides training required to grow in the career.

Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship programs provide an opportunity to progress to a skilled position through a combination of paid on-the-job training and classroom training. As apprentices advance through a program, they earn incremental pay increases and industry-recognized nationally-portable credentials. The apprenticeship model is leading the way in preparing American workers to compete in today’s economy.

Veterans

In addition to earning wages, eligible veterans may utilize their GI Bill benefits to receive a tax-free monthly housing allowance. The combination of apprentice wages and GI Bill benefits allow veterans to earn journey-level compensation while progressing through the apprenticeship.
