Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Development: Facilitate apprenticeship onboarding processes and conduct regular progress reviews to ensure apprentice success
  • Employer Training: Deliver ongoing training to employers on apprenticeship program implementation, sustainability practices, and federal/state compliance requirements
  • Site Compliance: Provide mobilization and execution support at construction project sites; verify compliance with federal and state apprenticeship standards, prevailing wage requirements, and ensure all required legal postings are properly displayed
  • Daily Oversight: Conduct routine inspections and investigations to ensure adherence to federal government requirements; communicate corrective action plans to employers as needed
  • Proactive Management: Monitor program functions to identify and prevent potential issues that could result in penalties or fines for employers
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure apprenticeship program delivery consistently meets client expectations and maintains high-quality standards
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve complaints and concerns from both employers and apprentices using a collaborative, solution-focused approach
  • Documentation Management: Oversee apprenticeship documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal and state guidelines

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, safety, training, construction, or project management
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work at job sites daily
  • Availability for required training: 1 week in Houston and 1 week at an active job site (all travel expenses covered)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask, analyze data, coordinate activities, and prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated capability to generate accurate, timely reports
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
