Data Analyst
Adaptive Construction Solutions, Inc. (ACS) is a workforce development organization focused on transforming lives through meaningful employment. The Data Analyst is responsible for inputting, aggregating, analyzing, and communicating the conclusions from program data for executives.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and capture usable data for analytical purposes
- Perform and validate quality assurance of data
- Analyze, model, and interpret program data to support objectives and identify trends
- Prepare custom and recurring data reports for executives that are readable and goal-driven
- Execute strategic data analysis and reporting initiatives
- Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems and inaccuracies developing protocols for processing and cleaning data
- Document and update policies, procedures, and best practices
- Produce analysis products related to workforce and economic development
- Convert data into diagrams, charts and infographics
- Present data and analysis to customers and stakeholders
- Work directly with management team to gather requirements, provide status updates and build relationships
- Learn operational processes and provide recommendations for improvements
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, business, or similar field
- A minimum of two years’ experience in data analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with executives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Able to work in and promote a drug free environment
- Preference for veteran applicants
Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience
Location: Houston, TX
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Exempt, full-time position which may require additional hours and weekend work.
