JOB DESCRIPTION: Internal Business Advisor

 

SUMMARY:

The Internal Business Advisor is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients to drive economic growth and workforce opportunities across the Gulf Coast region while working in a competitive and dynamic environment.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to customers and clients.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations practices.
  • Meet personal targets and work towards meeting team targets.
  • Write and submit timely reports on performance, targets, and customer queries.
  • Maintain and build effective relationships with new and existing customers and partners by providing services, maintaining contact
  • Understand customers’ human capital needs and provides recommendations on services and products
  • Identify opportunities for training and coordinate the effective delivery of training\
  • Maintain detailed records of outgoing and incoming calls as well as follow-up information and outcomes.
  • Intercept and respond to customer complaints or concerns with products/ services offered and seek to resolve problem while adhering to company and workforce board policy.
  • Persuasively engage the customer in conversation to explain how the offered products/ services will add value to their company success.
  • Also, be well-read on company policies and the website for FAQs or policy related answers.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience or a degree in Business Administration, Communication or Marketing (preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with executives
  • Be comfortable with high volume sales/ marketing phone calls
  • Have a relaxed and confident telephone manner, and strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Have ability to close sales and achieve monthly targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – strong PowerPoint and Excel skills critical
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and acceptable driving record
  • Able to work in and promote a drug free environment
  • Preference for veteran applicants


COMPENSATION:

Starting salary $50,000
