Compliance Manager

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, project team members, and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client compliance inquiries and issues
- Attend project kickoff meetings with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
- Represent the compliance team at recurring client meetings throughout the project duration
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely submission of conformance requests and implement escalation procedures when necessary
Project Coordination & Oversight
- Coordinate the provision of compliance services from the contract effective date through the final close-out
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers on projects requiring apprenticeship services
- Encourage the prompt submission of coverage and wage determination information from clients and contractors
- Monitor project progress through various compliance review processes and recommend improvements
Compliance Review & Analysis
- Review participation forms and coverage information for all project contractors
- Review recommended corrections from payroll and field specialists
- Respond to and resolve prevailing wage-related complaints from employees and other parties
- Collect and organize evidence of compliance for government and other audits
Reporting & Documentation
- Provide quarterly summaries of compliance issues and resolution status
- Draft comprehensive close-out reports upon project completion
- Ensure all client notifications, recommendations, and interactions are properly documented and accessible
- Develop and present executive-level reports as needed
- Maintain detailed records for easy retrieval and summary reporting
Escalation & Support
- Refer complex issues to the appropriate Team Leads and Directors
- Coordinate with the compliance team and directors to make necessary adjustments
- Assist clients in implementing required corrections promptly
Required Qualifications

- Exceptional multitasking capabilities with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management
- Advanced problem-solving abilities with a focus on anticipating and preventing issues
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work products
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and ensure client compliance with critical timelines
- Experience developing and presenting executive-level reports and documentation
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience working with or for government contracting or regulatory agencies
- Background in compliance, project management, or a related regulatory field
- Familiarity with prevailing wage requirements and federal compliance standards
