We're looking for a Senior Accountant to step in and hit the ground running. This is a temporary, fully on-site role based in Livermore, ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting and a preference for mission-driven or public sector work.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close activities
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
• Support audit preparation and provide documentation as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams on day-to-day accounting operations

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Nonprofit or government accounting experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Solid understanding of GAAP, fund accounting, and grant compliance is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting software
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to contribute from day one
