Aims Advantage is hiring a hoist operator at a local and well known company located near the Grand Rapids Airport. All shifts available and competitive pay!

1st shift 6:00am - 2:00pm

2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm

3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:00am

*May have overtime available based on business needs! *

General Summary:

Hoist Operators are responsible for plating loads. Their work is done independently with light supervision and requires strong knowledge of the entire plating process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following is a list of the general duties performed in the position it is not an exhausted list.

Operate hoist safely and efficiently in correspondence with Plating Work Instructions and all safety policies.
Monitor parts for defects during process
Monitor racks for proper/improper set-ups
Interpret daily plating schedules and be familiar with part numbers, rack numbers, and plating times
Be aware of new procedures and sample runs
Monitor robber wires throughout process
Visually monitor plating baths for possible problems

Other Duties:

Desludging tanks when deemed necessary by management
Any other duties assigned by the Plating Supervisor or Lead Plater

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for entire shift
Good eyesight, to differentiate color
Must have good hand/eye coordination
