Associate (Estates Trusts and Tax Planning) – Palo Alto, CA
The Silicon Valley office has an immediate opening for a 4 - 6 year level associate to join our Estates Trusts and Tax Planning group, which focuses on servicing the trusts and estates needs of high net worth individuals and families. The successful candidate will have broad exposure to will drafting, estate planning, estate and trust administration and settlement.
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school. Candidates should have a tax background, LL.M. in tax preferred, but not required. Strong academic background is required with exceptional research and writing skills, be team-oriented and have a committed work ethic. Candidates with a strong background in estates, gift and fiduciary income tax in a large firm environment preferred.
Admission to practice in California is strongly preferred but not required.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate (they told us to send over candidates with salary expectations)
