BUSINESS AND TAX ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – San Jose, CA

Midsize law firm is seeking a Business and Tax Associate for its San Jose location.

The candidate must have between 3-5 years of experience in sophisticated transactional business matters, including demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating agreements in the areas of business formation, choice of entity work, buy/sell agreements, and asset acquisitions/dispositions. This position will also involve tax research and assisting clients in tax controversy matters, so some familiarity with tax is a must.

An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred but not required.

 

Excellent academic credentials, analytical, writing, and communication skills are required, and a current member of the State Bar of California.

 

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate
