Associate – Individual Negotiation and Litigation- New York & Washington DC Offices
One of our national firms is accepting applications for a mid-level associate to work in the New York or Washington, DC offices for the firm’s individual practice area. The associate will represent employees in all areas of employment law, including cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leaves of absence, layoffs and executive compensation. The associate will have extensive client contact and the opportunity to work on cases in a variety of contexts including federal and state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agencies (e.g., the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), as well as negotiations and client counseling.
Must have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience, preferably in employment law. Applicants with judicial clerkship or litigation experience are preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical, writing, research, and client management skills, and a commitment to protecting individual employment rights.
