We are working with a premier boutique law firm that is searching for a mid-level to senior associate to join the executive compensation group in its New York office. Ideal candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience in an executive compensation practice with a top tier law firm.
- 5-9 years’ experience in an executive compensation practice, preferably in a top tier law firm.
- Strong preference for candidates with prior experience with executive compensation and benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including IRC Section 280G.
- ERISA and traditional benefits experience are a PLUS.
- Experience with equity compensation arrangements for both public and private companies, drafting offer letters and employment and separation agreements, public company compensation disclosure, M&A transactions, and the related tax and securities law issues.
- JD 2012 – 2015.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible.
