THE POSITION

Environmental/Land Use Law Firm seeks an ambitious and diligent associate attorney with four (4) to six (6) years of experience to join our team of exceptional attorneys. The position is open in our South San Francisco or Sacramento office, combined with remote work.

Candidates must have substantive experience practicing land use and environmental law, including CEQA and California Planning and Zoning Law, and litigation experience is preferred. Experience practicing energy and utility law and experience practicing before the California Public Utilities Commission is desirable.

Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and excellent analytical, research, writing and speaking skills. Candidates should also share the firm’s commitment to socially beneficial work.

THE POSITION

Environmental/Land Use Law Firm seeks an attorney with seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in land use and environmental law to join our team of exceptional attorneys. Experience practicing energy and utility law and experience before the California Public Utilities Commission is desirable. The position is open in our South San Francisco or Sacramento office, combined with remote work.

Candidates must have extensive experience performing all aspects of legal advocacy in a case – from the beginning of the administrative process through the end of litigation. Candidates must also have strong communication skills, the ability to manage a litigation docket effectively and the ability to supervise other attorneys. A strong work ethic and excellent analytical, research, writing and speaking skills are mandatory requirements.

Candidates must also have the ability to work collaboratively and productively with office staff, clients, experts and colleagues. Successful candidates consistently share the firm’s commitment to socially beneficial work.
