Real Estate Paralegal Job Description – San Francisco, CA
We are working with a national law firm that is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal.
At least three years' experience working as a paralegal including
substantial experience working in commercial real estate and/or
commercial real estate lending.
College degree preferable; all candidates must satisfy at least one of the California statutory paralegal classification requirements.
Proficient in handling purchase and sale transactions, including:
drafting of basic conveyance and closing documents; and assisting
with due diligence matters.
-Proficient in handling mortgage loan transactions, including: preparation of initial drafts of loan documents; review and obtain borrower organizational and authorization documents; order and
review judgment and lien searches.
-Review and analysis of the status of title; request and negotiate
owner's and lender's title insurance policies, including specific
endorsements; review ALTA surveys and negotiate with surveyors;
review and analyze zoning reports and coordinate revisions with
-Prepare UCC-1 financing statements, amendments, assignments,
terminations and coordinate filings.
-Experience in filing and registration of entities in various states;
preparation of organizational documents.
-Prepare closing instructions and closing binders and general
management of closing process including management of closing
checklists; maintain closing files.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate (they told us to send over candidates with salary expectations)
