Trusts/Estates Paralegal Needed in San Jose, CA, 1,250-1,400 billables, $73-$105/hour

5+ years of experience. In order of importance, skills would include:

 

1. Trust and probate administration
2. Estate and gift tax return preparation
3. Not litigation, but experience with filing law and motion matters in the California probate courts (primarily Santa Clara County).
4. Experience with California real property tax issues
5. Formation of California entities, such as LLCs a

 

This is a non-exempt position. I suspect the hourly pay would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $73 to $105 an hour (depending on experience).

 

I need at least 3 days a week in our San Jose office—not negotiable, though I might be willing to pay a little premium for someone who is fully in office.

 

Position has fully health benefits, plus a minimum of 3% and a maximum of 6% total comp to put to their 401k, regardless of what they put into the 401k themselves (i.e., its free money—not merely a “matching” program).
