CONFLICTS ATTORNEY – San Diego, CA
Amlaw 200 law firm is seeking to hire a Conflicts Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience practicing as an attorney in a mid-to-large size law firm. Experience in the area of conflict of interest law and/or professional responsibility is strongly preferred, with litigation experience a plus. The Conflicts Attorney would be responsible for daily review and analysis of conflicts of interest, conflict waivers, engagement agreements and other issues related to firm acceptance of new clients, new matters and the firm’s hiring of lateral attorneys and staff, and interface with the firm’s clearance partners, conflicts group and human resources team regarding approval of new clients, new matters and lateral hiring requests. The Conflicts Attorney will handle additional assignments from the firm’s General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and occasionally from the Management Committee. CA license required.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidate
