The VP of Digital Media is a digital team leader primarily responsible for managing the development, execution and measurement of all digital media efforts throughout the agency. Additionally, they act as a digital media SME for internal stakeholders/client partners as well as key point of contact for cross-functional disciplines (SEM, SEO, Strategy, Creative, etc.). Further, they are responsible for education of the media staff on new trends, opportunities and measurement in the digital media space and partners with the Analytics team to ensure best practices are being employed across all digital channels. Contributes to Agency’s new business strategy relating to digital opportunities.

 

 

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree required

  • Experienced in development of sound digital media strategies

  • 7-9 years’ experience within digital media agency function and/or digital media vendor/ad technology platform

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, project management and communication skills (written and oral) are required in this position.

  • Proficiency within Social Platforms (Facebook/Instagram Power Editor, Twitter, Pinterest, SnapChat, LinkedIn)

  • Proficiency within DSPs to run Video & Display (Google’s DV360, MediaMath, etc.)

  • Proficient user of digital ads trafficking tools (DCM, etc.)

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with use of data visualization software (DOMO, Datarama, Tableau, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Mastery of all Campaign Management and Planning & Optimization functional responsibilities

  • Able to deliver against functional responsibilities in a more strategic, mature, and self-guided manner, on high volume of accounts, larger scale client/Media programs

  • Collaborate with other Agency departments on digital strategy, innovation and campaign tactics for existing clients and new business prospects

  • Responsible for the client’s media program that delivers against client's goals and drive value

  • Contribute to the development of forward-thinking strategies and campaigns

  • Develop a management and measurement framework to steer and monitor program progress and success

  • Responsible for giving direction to the media services, platform, and capability resources as it pertains to the client work

  • Proactively devise and support new concepts to manage/grow program

  • Act as a Media SME and support Agency growth efforts

  • Maintain the best possible internal and external relationships (Clients & Media Partners)

  • Develop and constantly update best practices in the areas of digital ad serving, performance monitoring and creative development guidelines
