We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraiser to join our team. This role is crucial for leading our efforts in raising capital for smaller VC funds targeted at high net worth, family office and institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in venture capital fundraising, with the ability to manage multiple fund closures and engage effectively with sophisticated investors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure investment from high net worth individuals, family offices and corporate/institutional investors. Manage relationships with existing investors and engage new prospects to expand our investor base.
• Coordinate and lead fundraising rounds, crafting and presenting compelling investor narratives to ensure clear communication and strong investment propositions for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather market intelligence and investment opportunities that align with potential investor interests.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders and potential investors.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking gatherings to foster relationships and build brand awareness.
• Monitor fundraising trends and investor inquiries to adapt strategies that align with market demands and organizational goals.
• Lead and manage the entire capital-raising process from start to finish
• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills in investor relations and fund management.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) would be advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in fundraising or investment roles within the venture capital sector.
• Demonstrated success in raising funds from high net worth individuals, family offices and corporate/institutional investors.
• Strong, existing relationships with LP's, family offices, institutional investors, and high-net-worth individuals
• A successful track record of fundraising, especially in venture capital or private equity settings
• Strong understanding of the venture capital ecosystem and investment strategies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with high-level stakeholders and building strong relationships.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing successful fundraising campaigns.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
