RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating connected systems and tools that integrate with 3rd Party API’s s, Live web data compiled from daily web scraping, and Photoshop & Adobe Extend-script toolkit
• Building online services for our customers including web apps, analytical tools, data processing and image rendering
• Improving existing features as well as creative architecting of new solutions.
• Building services and tools that support our consumer-facing experiences and our internal business needs.
• Building companion apps as Chrome extensions.
• Designing and maintaining back-end databases

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in professional web development.
• Great communication skills as a leading member of an internationally-based team.
• Passion for web technologies and a strong desire to remain up to date with the latest technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Familiar with network-based scripting tools. (Mac, PC and Linux.)
• Familiar with creating scripts/plugins for Photoshop and Illustrator in JavaScript or python.
• Familiar with most adobe products. Especially adobe Extend-script toolkit.
• Familiar with connecting to 3rd Party API’s
• Expert in JavaScript + Node.Js
• Solid experience with SQL or Access or similar database systems.
• Experience with source control.
• Application of software development best practices.
• Efficient Web scraping with proxy rotation.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience working on high-traffic, responsive websites and applications.
• Familiar with Elasticsearch and Python desirable.
• Familiar with integrating Google Maps and other Google APIs.
• Experience working with abroad freelancers
• Understanding of HTTP protocols and the associated security concerns
• Building automated systems
• Web development skills
• Basic knowledge of SEO
• Python, Flask, Ruby, Django, Applescript, Open GL
