Client Service Director - Healthcare Marketing Analytics

Aldebaran Recruiting - New York OR Philadelphia , XX

The Client Solutions Director will manage a team of up to 15 digital media experts and be accountable for the success of multiple client relationships within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. As a client leader, you’ll be responsible for deeply understanding clients’ business issues and goals, and be the advisor to client leadership.

But this isn’t your typical “account” job. In addition to managing relationships, you’ll be overseeing development of sophisticated media analyses, guiding brands on how to optimize their media mix based on insight from that analysis, and advocating (with the client, with partner agencies, etc.) on steps to drive better results. Your team members will be both strong account leaders and technical experts who lead all aspects of media measurement - from pixel strategy to managing large data sets to building client friendly measurement dashboards.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as a senior point of contact for assigned client portfolio, with accountability for client success; interface with client leadership regularly, leading discussions with executive leadership

  • Partner with clients to understand their marketing objectives and competitive constraints, and build digital strategies to address these areas

  • Directly lead a team of up to 15, and, as a senior leader, provide strategic guidance across our functional teams

  • Be a strategic expert on digital media planning, tactics, and measurement - leading the team (internal, client, and vendors) through planning, tactic, and program-level measurement and analytics, data synthesis, and insight delivery

  • Oversee media measurement infrastructure including pixel strategy, site tag management, and big data integration and visualization

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in digital advertising account management, yield optimization, marketing strategy/consulting, or brand management
  • At least 1 year working with a major pharmaceutical brand (either on a brand team or as part of a consulting/agency engagement)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, both directly and indirectly, with proven ability to develop junior staff
  • Ability to apply innovative thinking to solve complex client marketing challenges
  • Strong ability to create, build, and leverage relationships, and effectively interface with executive-level client leadership
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable using Excel/SQL for data analysis with understanding of advanced analytic approaches
  • Excellent listening, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and meet deadlines
  • Ability to contribute as a leader in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from top-tier university with relevant major
