E-commerce Project Manager/Account Manager

This role will focus on supporting the Director of Ecommerce, and help launch and then manage new business channels, both domestic and expansion into international markets.

Some of the tasks involved:

  • Help research and map out and track progress of all the steps needed to launch the new domestic channels (primarily WM Marketplace) and international markets (Amazon)
  • Help figure out and understand how we will deal with new challenges like;
    • International Duty and VAT systems
    • New logistics/warehouse partners to work with
    • New systems needed to help run the business/integration with current systems
    • Product market research and plan a pipeline of new production
    • Building out models for pricing and margins, with the new costs and currency conversions
  • Assist the Director with some of his current tasks and projects
  • Eventual role as Account manager, once the new channels are up and running
  • Run reporting and analyze data to help monitor and drive the new initiatives

We are looking for a candidate who;

  • Is VERY smart, is highly analytical and a quick learner
  • Is very comfortable using MS Excel for data analysis and creating templates and trackers
  • Is very computer savvy and learns new systems easily
  • Is very detail oriented, can think big picture and outside the box
  • Works well handling important tasks, and seeing them through to completion
  • Is comfortable researching and figuring new things out on their own as needed
  • Can run multiple projects at the same time
  • Has a great personality, to complement the strong team we have in place
  • The Ideal candidate would have;
  • Some relevant work experience or knowledge, in some of these areas;
    • Project Management
    • Amazon Marketplace
    • WM Marketplace
    • International Markets (mainly UK/EU)
    • Supply Chain Operations and Logistics/Warehousing fulfillment
  • Great tech skills, possibly some experience in the IT area (not necessary)
  • A can do attitude, with a drive to grow and take on more responsibility
