ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role for someone who can blend brand and performance, creativity and analytics. The Director of Marketing will own the full marketing function—from paid digital campaigns and product launches to social media, community, and brand development.

The ideal candidate is a doer and a builder. They know how to launch physical products, grow brand momentum on a lean budget, and drive results across the customer journey. They will report directly to the CEO and work closely with product and sales leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead all areas of marketing, including paid media, social, email, PR, events, partnerships, and creative

  • Own digital strategy and performance—drive traffic, generate leads, and convert them to sales

  • Develop go-to-market plans for upcoming product launches in coordination with product and sales

  • Build brand voice and manage all social media platforms, including posting, community engagement, and comment moderation

  • Expand grassroots efforts through community engagement, local activations, and earned media

  • Oversee advertising spend (Meta, Google, etc.) and provide reporting and analytics for ROI and growth

  • Collaborate with the team to improve CRM strategy and implement email and lifecycle marketing

  • Be physically present in the LA office to interact with the product, customers, and in-person events

ABOUT YOU

  • 5–10 years of marketing experience with a track record of driving growth for consumer products

  • Strong background in performance marketing, brand building, and product launches

  • Skilled in Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, CRM, and email marketing

  • Highly creative with a sharp understanding of audience, storytelling, and brand voice

  • Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team where you’ll wear many hats

  • Outgoing and energized by events, customer interaction, and community engagement

  • Must be based in Los Angeles and able to work in-office most weekdays
