Administrative Assistant
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Hours: Part-time, preferred 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM daily
Position Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and staff across multiple office locations. This role involves administrative, financial, and client support while ensuring accurate record-keeping and smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to attorneys and office staff.
Manage client intake forms and files using Microsoft SharePoint.
Maintain timekeeping records and generate reports; transition to legal practice management software as needed.
Prepare and follow up on invoices, including monthly billing for attorneys.
Perform payroll tasks, including travel reimbursements and healthcare premiums.
Reconcile operating accounts and review balance sheets, ensuring trust funds align with records.
Process payments for bills, including professional premiums and office expenses.
Collaborate with accounting professionals to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
Preferred Skills & Software Experience:
Microsoft SharePoint/Office 365
QuickBooks Online
Legal practice management software (training provided if needed)
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
