Job Title: Compensation Specialist
Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Position Summary
Aligned Solutions is seeking a Compensation Manager for a well respected company. The Compensation Specialist provides enterprise-wide support for compensation operations, governance, and analytics. This role is responsible for maintaining data integrity, ensuring effective program execution, and supporting compensation practices that are fair, competitive, and aligned with the organization’s philosophy. The Compensation Specialist also serves as the Workday Compensation Business Process Owner and partners closely with HR, Finance, and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
Own and maintain Workday compensation business processes and ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate and support the annual merit and bonus planning processes across the organization.
Manage the Career Architecture and Salary Grading Structure, ensuring consistency and governance.
Conduct internal equity reviews and provide guidance on pay decisions and job leveling across business units.
Prepare, analyze, and deliver compensation reports and insights for HR Business Partners and senior leadership.
Support external audits, compliance initiatives, and structural updates in collaboration with the CHRO and consulting firms.
Collaborate with other compensation team members to ensure alignment between enterprise-wide frameworks and business-specific needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; CCP certification is a plus.
4+ years of progressive compensation experience, ideally in a Workday-enabled environment.
Strong analytical, reporting, and Excel skills; experience with compensation modeling and salary structure governance.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive data with discretion.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across functions and organizational levels.
Experience in the construction or energy industry is preferred but not required.
