Position Overview: The Demand and Inventory Planning Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring product availability, optimizing production schedules, and aligning inventory levels with business objectives. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: Demand Planning: • Analyze retail POS data, customer forecasts, and ladder plans to develop accurate demand forecasts. • Monitor and adjust demand plans based on changes in market conditions, customer orders, and promotional activities. • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate new product launches and promotional impacts into demand plans. Supply and Production Planning: • Work closely with the production team to develop production schedules that align with demand forecasts and inventory requirements. • Ensure timely communication of production priorities and adjustments based on changing demand signals. • Optimize supply planning to balance production efficiency with customer needs. Inventory Management: • Monitor domestic inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory. • Conduct regular inventory analyses to identify trends, improve turnover, and reduce carrying costs. • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure efficient stock movement and storage. Reporting and Insights: • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels. • Provide actionable insights to support S&OP processes and executive decision-making. • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy. • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Skills, knowledge, and abilities: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or inventory management. • Technical Skills: o Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems o Familiarity with retail POS data, ladder plans, and forecasting models. o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills o Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. o Experience with demand planning software and statistical forecasting models • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and present data insights to non-technical stakeholders. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and influence decision-making at senior levels. • Full-time on-site position located at our company’s headquarter offices in Boca Raton, Florida. We believe strongly in the philosophy that we are Better Together and that the collaboration and teamwork of being with each other in the office supports our culture the best. For this reason, we work in the office Monday through Thursday. We have chosen Friday as our weekly remote workday as we believe it to be the day that is most beneficial and effective for Basic Fun!
