Salary: $155,000 - $175,000 + benefits.
The San Benito County Water District mission is to preserve the economic and environmental wealth and well-being of San Benito County through the control, management and conservation of water supplies in a practical, cost-effective and responsible manner. The Manager of Administration, Finance and Business Services plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the District’s financial, information technology services, human resources, utility billing, customer service, procurement, contracts, and budget preparation activities. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded, motivational leader who can balance multiple priorities; a self-starter with strong organizational, administrative and analytical abilities; an excellent communicator who is skilled at building alliances; strategic, detail-oriented, open, and honest; adept at managing staff and consultants; devoted to ensuring that District’s customers receive excellent customer service.
Requires 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting and finance to include purchasing, investments, cash management, internal audit control, and debt issuance and 5 years management/supervisory experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience in a public agency setting is highly desirable.
